Loyola News staff in a meeting
Seven students sit around a table in a meeting, occupied with different tasks. Some read, others type on typewriters while some others write. The Loyola News was launched in 1924 and was later renamed the Loyola Phoenix in 1970. -
The Guild of St. Apollonia
The first undergraduate chapter of the Guild of St. Apollonia, a Catholic fraternity for dental students, was established at Loyola in 1924. -
Mundelein Skyscraper under construction
An elevated view shows two levels of the Skyscraper as open framework with machinery and a few workers visible. A sign on the surrounding fence reads "Mundelein College". Several buildings of the Loyola campus are visible, along with some surrounding mansions and the lake shore on the right side of the image.
