The associated article, "Seniors, Senoritas Have Dinner See Film At Pan-American Party," describes the event to take place on April 16, 1958. The event was sponsored by Mundelein's history and Spanish departments, along with the Spanish departments of Loyola University and the University of Illinois. The event began with the film "Our Lady of Guadaloupe," followed by a dinner of Mexican and American food in the Tearoom of Mundelein College.
"Entertainment will consist of Latin American songs and dances. Alicia Villarreal and Maria Cristina Schouwe will present three Spanish dances. Guillermo Perez, president of the Spanish club at Navy Pier, and his partner Marta Bennett will present the national folk dance of Panama.
Efraim Lopez, a professional radio singer from Mexico, will sing classical and popular Latin American songs. Patricia Delsing, president of Mundelein's International Relations club, will be mistress of ceremonies."
