Carolyn Farrell, BVM, left, envisioned the WLA as a premier center for research on women. Ann Ida Gannon, BVM, right, was the namesake for the Gannon Center for Women and Leadership. She also served as the archivist for the Mundelein College Records in the early years of the WLA.
