A Student's Journey
What does a five-year education at the Loyola School of Medicine look like? What classes did students take? Where would they intern? In the following section, feel free to explore a Loyola medical education with student Perry V. Hartman.
Dr. Perry V. Hartman, Jr. attended the Loyola School of Medicine from 1931-1933. He transferred into the school for his junior year from the Bradley Institute at YMCA College. While Dr. Hartman did not go through the exact four year education described in the following sections, his experience did include the same coursework, student organization involvement, and internship placement.
