Loyola Academy Baseball Team 1910

Loyola Academy had a robust student life, including an active athletics program. Athletics played a prominent role in Loyola Academy's development, and the Academy played a prominent role in the development of Catholic high school athletics in the Chicago area and nationwide. During its first few decades in existence, the Academy fielded football, baseball, basketball, swimming, and track teams, many of which won championships.

The Academy found quick success in athletics, with the basketball team winning first place in their division championship in the second year of their existence.
