President, 1955-1970
The twentieth president of Loyola, Father Maguire's tenure resulted in tremendous growth of the university in academic accomplishments, physical expansion, and the creation of various development organizations. Under Father Maguire's leadership, Loyola became one of the largest Catholic universities in the country.
