Pesident, 1898-1900

Father Pahls came to Loyola in the year 1882 as procurator, in which office he spent several years. A post-graduate course in philosophy was launched in 1900, and the college began granting graduate degrees. From Chicago he was transferred to St. Louis and then to Omaha. He then came back to Loyola as president, a post he retained until his health broke down. He spent the last years of his life as procurator in Deetroit College, but died at St. Stanislaus Seminary, Cleveland, Ohio, on February 10, 1910.
