Despite the increased mobilization of students against Vietnam, antiwar sentiment was far from uniform. The struggle against the war eventually became personal, with heated dorm room arguments and even editorials on the cover of The Skyscraper decrying campus-wide apathy. Never fully uniting their political beliefs, this was a volatile time in the history of Mundelein College replete with intense debate, heated disagreement, and even lost friendships.
